Abby Knapp earns spot on AAU Jr. National Team

USA Karate Academy and all the members of the dojo are proud of Abby Knapp’s recent invitation to be a member of the AAU Karate Jr. National Travel Team. Abby has been training at USA Karate in Shoreline since she was 10 years old. Now 17 years of age, Abby has worked persistently and diligently to improve her karate playing skills with the goal of having the opportunity to represent the United States at the WKC Jr. World Championships set to take place this October near Venice, Italy. Abby’s silver medal performance at the 2010 AAU National Karate Championships in Albany, NY this summer, along with her Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal spectacular finish at this year’s AAU Jr. Olympic Games in Hampton Roads, VA, in addition to her strong performance at the Junior National Karate Team Trials catapulted Abby to receive the opportunity that she has been striving for over many years of commitment, sacrifice, and devotion. Now the work begins for Abby as she begins an 8 week journey toward her first World Championships in Karate. We are thrilled for Abby’s acceptance on this talented team and pledge to assist her in elevating her game to the next level.
