The Master Lane Super Seminar on Friday night at 6:30 pm is open to ALL of our students. If you are planning to attend the Saturday gun and knife disarms class at 1:00pm you should strongly consider attending the Friday evening class so you can lay a good foundation. The youth training on Friday at 4:30 pm is for 12 & under students with less than 2 years of training.

While each member receives a complete copy of these affirmations and character building quotes and sayings in their new student “Welcome Packet” this post was requested by parents, and former students alike. Dojo OPEN for regular training January 2, 2012

USA Karate Academy of Shoreline, WA is open for regular training this Monday, January 2, 2012. Students are welcome to attend any class that fits their schedule to make up any missed classes as soon as possible. Attending regularly, making up missed classes is essential for students to not only improve skills, but to FEEL progress. Lack of feeling progress is one of the most common reasons why a student may discontinue training. We also encourage practicing not only at home, but attending OPEN GYM. Open Gym occurs each Thursday at 6:00 pm – 7:40 pm. The dojo is available for guided practice, but is for serious students who can manage their time, and utilize their own self discipline. Most people underestimate the value of practicing during Open Gym and usually attend open gym to prepare for a belt progress test or upcoming tournament, almost as though they can “cram” for success. However, the best success in karate training comes from frequent, intense, and consistent practice. Jump start the New Year in karate training by showing up to class, open gym, and make ups!

Holiday Schedule

USA Karate Academy will be closed December 24th and December 31st. All other classes Monday through Thursday will be operating on the regular schedule. We invite all of our students to attend any class that fits your schedule during the holiday season to ensure a minimum attendance of two classes a week. Happy Holidays!

Mr. Duke Tirschel our preferred professional martial arts photographer has done it again! The karate pictures that Mr. Tirschel promised would be done in time for the holidays have arrived and students who ordered karate photos from Mr. Tirschel can pick up their packages at the USA Karate Academy dojo. This week the dojo is open on Thursday, December 16 from 4pm – 8pm, Friday December 17, 6pm – 10pm (for parents night out), and Saturday December 18 8:00am – 12:00pm. Pick up your photos as soon as you are able.

PARENT’s NIGHT OUT! This Friday, December 16, 2011

This coming Friday, December 16th, parents can bring their child(ren) to the dojo from 6PM-10PM.

Special activities such as; dojo dodge ball or battle field chivalry, sport karate agility exercises, complete with a Pizza Dinner, water, organic juice drinks, and an age appropriate movie…under the watchful eyes of Sensei Tony, Sensei Justin, and Senpai Anel.

Registration costs: $25.oo for the 1st child – $10.00 for each additional. Sign up at the dojo to reserve your spot!

If your child has special dietary needs or restrictions let us know so we can plan accordingly.
