The Master Lane Super Seminar on Friday night at 6:30 pm is open to ALL of our students. If you are planning to attend the Saturday gun and knife disarms class at 1:00pm you should strongly consider attending the Friday evening class so you can lay a good foundation. The youth training on Friday at 4:30 pm is for 12 & under students with less than 2 years of training.

Master Danny Lane is an internationally acclaimed martial arts master, and has traveled the world over for four decades teaching the fighting and self defense secrets of the Chuck Norris UFAF System.

Our dojo, USA Karate Academy in Shoreline is having an appreciation work out for MOMS today, Monday, May 16 and tomorrow, Tuesday May 17 in all classes. Participants should wear loose fitting clothing to allow for freedom of movement. Classes will enhance the connection of parents participating with their children and include basic warm ups, stretching, strengthening, martial arts skills and self defense tactics.

USA Karate Summer Day Camp Academy is a unique and personable day camp experience. Your child’s karate and life skills will be enhanced in this one-week intensive day camp.  Campers can expect the following:

• new katas and bully-busting skills
• stranger-danger awareness, advanced techniques
• field trip with Shihan and Sempai
• games, crafts, and activities
• snacks and a karate movie.

$199 for camp (see below for additional care for you child)
Deposit price of $50 (deducted from total) due May 21st.
Child must be AAU Insured (+ $14 if not a current AAU member)
The total amount due before or on JULY 5th.

A personal safety and self-defense seminar for teenage girls (ages 13-19). This is a great opportunity to learn useful skills while also benefitting a good cause. Shihan Joni Sharrah of USA Karate Academy is donating her time to sponsor this event. Presented by the Pink Polka Dots Guild.

Members of the USA Karate Academy Black Belt Club will be glad to know that the weapons (classical kobudo),  class is slated to resume Friday, September 11, 2009 at 5:00 pm.  The kobudo class is one hour in length.  Students are expected to provide their own weapons.  If a student needs to order their own weapon, please see our office manager, Jan Beaver or Shihan Joni Sharrah.
